MEMBERSHIP

Éduc’alcool’s institutional members come from five main areas, each one represented by its official organization.

  • Import, distribution and retail sales: Société des alcools du Québec [Quebec liquor corporation],
  • Spirits: Association des distillateurs du Québec [Association of Quebec distillers],
  • Wines: Conseil des négociants en vins du Québec [Council of Quebec wine merchants],
  • Ciders: Association des fabricants de cidre du Québec [Association of Quebec cider manufacturers],
  • Promotion and representation: Association du Québec des agences de vins, bières et spiritueux [Association of Quebec wine, beer and spirit agencies].

    • Associate members Any member of the alcoholic beverage industry who wishes to join Éduc’alcool and take part in its activities may become an associate member.

    Individual members Private individuals who share the Éduc’alcool approach and are dedicated to promoting responsible drinking may become members of the organization. Such people make an essential contribution in terms of commitment, expertise and experience. Three individual members currently sit on the Board of Directors, ensuring balance and broadening the scope of its concerns and viewpoints.

    Their commitment All Éduc’alcool members are volunteers. They share a fundamental belief in the partnership necessary between government institutions, industry organizations, individuals from the public health sector, academics and other key players in our society. Éduc’alcool is a locus of consensus and convergence, dedicated to its single mission: to improve Quebecers’ relationship to alcohol and drinking.
