What’s the recommended number of drinks per day for men who want to drink moderately – and even beneficially, if they’re over 40? What are the health risks of regular drinking for someone who is 70? What exactly is “a standard drink”? Will drinking affect a fetus?
First “Alcohol and Health” campaign in Québec

These are just some of the questions that a majority of Quebecers (according to the 2007 Quebecers and Alcohol survey) have about the connection between alcohol and health.
Éduc’alcool is therefore launching a print and television campaign to inform as many Quebecers as possible about the effects of drinking on their health, so that they can make the most enlightened personal decisions. The campaign promotes the brochures in Éduc’alcool’s Alcohol and Health collection and encourages people to order their own copies: The Effects of Moderate and Regular Alcohol Consumption, Alcohol and the Human Body, Alcohol and Older People, The Effects of Abusive Drinking, Low-risk Drinking: 2.3.4.5.0 and Pregnancy and Drinking.
