What’s new? > Nez rouge turns 25
Wednesday, October 01st 2008
This December, Opération Nez rouge will celebrate 25 years of service. Established in 1984, the organization runs what has become one of the most important road safety campaigns in Québec. Initially created to finance Laval University’s Red and Gold swim club, the popular drive-home service has grown remarkably and is now available in 120 communities in Québec, English Canada (where’s it’s known as Operation Red Nose), Switzerland, France and Portugal.

Éduc’alcool has been a proud partner of Opération Nez rouge for going on 20 years. Together, they organize the annual Party sans déraper tour of Québec Cegeps and universities, and the C’est notre tournée series of interactive lectures for businesses, delivered on company premises.
To highlight this milestone anniversary and the importance of our relationship, Éduc’alcool has produced a commercial (Fallait avoir du pif pour s’occuper des pafs – in French only) that pays tribute to Nez Rouge’s founder, personnel and all the volunteers who give their time and energy to this wonderful organization.
