IMPROV (French only)

Éduc’alcool and Just for Laughs organize comedy improv competitions in schools across Quebec. Students form teams and local tournaments are coordinated. One improv topic in every three is related to moderate drinking. There are two semi-finals, in Montreal and Quebec City, with the grand finale taking place at the Just for Laughs Festival, before hundreds of spectators.

The winners take on the real improv pros. For Éduc’alcool, this is an outstanding way to get young people to spread the message of moderation themselves. Nothing beats peer influence when it comes to teen behaviour!
