A proud Anicinape woman from Pikogan, Natacha Rankin brings 26 years of experience within the federal public service, notably in management and Indigenous community relations. Her career has allowed her to develop expertise in inclusive governance, government relations, equity and public awareness.
Education
- Master’s degree in Public Administration – Management, École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Université Laval
- Certificate in Indigenous Employment Development, Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology
Governance Experience
- Lecturer, notably at Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT)
- Management and development of community relations and public health policies within the federal public service
- Experience in engagement with Indigenous communities
- President of the MAMUK Community Centre
- Board member of Espace Femmes Premières Nationsons
Community Engagement
- Commitment to supporting vulnerable populations and youth
- Community relations experience as part of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG)
